KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A 4-year-old boy was hospitalized after being found unresponsive in a pool in Kissimmee, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.
Just after 7 p.m. Thursday, deputies received a 911 call reporting a child found unresponsive in a pool on Tropical Palms Circle.

When deputies arrived, they immediately began performing CPR on the boy.
The child was transported to a local hospital before being airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando and is currently listed in critical condition.
The family, who were visiting from out of state, was at the location at the time of the incident, deputies said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
