Orlando man illuminates neighborhood with musical light display

ORLANDO, Fla. – Adam LaPrada has been fascinated with Christmas lights since he was a kid, so when he bought a house this year, he decided to make his light display special. 

The "LaPrada Lights," which made their debut this year, not only light up his neighborhood but do so to the accompaniment of popular Christmas carols.

The light show is 15 minutes long and runs every 8 minutes. The show runs every night from 6 to 10:30 p.m. and broadcasts on 91.7 FM. 

Six songs are on the playlist, including "The Little Drummer Boy" and "Jingle Bell Rock." LaPrada opens to light show with Disneyland's "World of Color," which inspired him to build the display. 

LaPrada said his neighborhood is right behind SeaWorld, and he invited both tourists and locals to come enjoy his light display.
