BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX successfully launched another Falcon 9 rocket from the Florida coast on Tuesday.
The space agency said the MTG-S1/Sentinel-4A mission to geosynchronous transfer orbit took off at Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center.
The launch ultimately went up at 5:04 p.m.
SpaceX said this was the ninth flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-9, RRT-1, Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1, Fram2, SXM-10, and three Starlink missions.
After stage separation, the first stage was slated to land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
