CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s coast on Tuesday evening after a scrub the day prior.
In a release, SpaceX officials said that the launch sent the SES 03b mPOWER mission into orbit from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Liftoff originally targeted Monday evening, though the launch was ultimately put on hold and aborted with just 11 seconds left on the countdown.
However, the rocket ultimately took off during a backup opportunity on Tuesday at 5:12 p.m.
This is the sixth flight for the first-stage booster used in this mission, which was previously used to launch O3b mPOWER-E, Crew-10, Bandwagon-3, and two other Starlink missions.
