MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – The latest chapter of human space exploration has a collector’s edition — and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is making it available this weekend only.
Artemis: A Celebration of Exploration runs Friday through Sunday and features collector’s Artemis II crew trading cards available while supplies last.
The event showcases the innovation, people and legacy behind NASA’s Artemis Program. Along with the trading cards, attendees can pose for a photo with a life-sized zero-G indicator from Artemis II, Rise, and hear directly from Artemis Program subject matter experts.
Those experts will offer firsthand insights into lunar exploration, mission preparation and the technology powering deep-space travel. Visitors are encouraged to check the Journey to Mars schedule outside the attraction for presentation times.
The Artemis II mission marks a major milestone in NASA’s efforts to return humans to the moon — and eventually send them to Mars. The trading cards feature the Artemis II crew, giving space fans a collectible connection to that historic mission.
