Winter is making a comeback! No surprise there—it is still February, even though it hasn’t really felt like it. You’ve probably heard your local meteorologist mention wind chills, but why do they matter?

Simply put, wind chill helps you understand how cold it actually feels on your skin and when conditions could lead to frostbite or hypothermia. But here’s a cool fact—wind chill isn’t something we measure; it’s something we calculate!
