Get ready for a cosmic spectacle! A planetary parade is about to unfold in the night sky, and it’s an event you definitely won’t want to miss. Hi y’all, meteorologist Michelle Morgan here with you.

On Friday, seven planets—Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, and Saturn—will align in a stunning celestial display. You’ll need a telescope to view a few planets but it’s the perfect opportunity to stargaze. Click here to know when and where to look?

But that’s not all! As Black History Month draws to a close, it’s vital to honor those who paved the way for people like myself, especially in fields like meteorology. Let me introduce you to June Bacon-Bercey, a true pioneer who broke down barriers in the male-dominated world of weather.

June Bacon-Bercey was the first African American female broadcast meteorologist and the first woman to serve as chief meteorologist in the U.S. She shattered glass ceilings, becoming a role model and an inspiration to countless women and minorities who aspire to break through boundaries.
