A view for launch 🤩

While it might be small in size compared to its VAB neighbor, Kennedy Space Center’s newest attraction has mighty views.

The photo collage above has shots taken from the ground and on the top floor of The Gantry at LC-39.

With its recent addition as a stop on the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex bus tour, the tour no longer goes directly around Launch Complex 39A.

That realization took me by surprise during my recent visit but I will say, the 360-degree views of nature and launch pads make up for it.

Taking in a launch there will surely be a spectacle.

The attraction has four floors of interactive experiences, and the star feature at this newest attraction is a full-scale model of a rocket engine, where every 30 minutes, guests will experience a simulated static fire test.

To get the full effect of replication, I recommend standing under the engine nozzle. It gets a little steamy, but it’s worth it.

Universal Orlando

Double house announcement 🏚️

The lineup for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights is looking complete.

We knew it was happening and this week, Universal dropped official details on Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Based on the 2023 film and the original horror video game, visitors follow Mike, a security guard working at a pizzeria where the animatronic characters are haunted.

The other big house announcement was also a rumor that came to fruition: a WWE house.

WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks plunges guests into the dark and twisted world of WWE’s newest sinister group.

If you’re thinking of Halloween Horror Nights 2025, it’s best to look at the calendar now. The event kicks off at the end of the month.

Even though it only contributed a month’s worth of profit, Epic Universe fueled theme park revenue for Comcast.

The president spoke to investors about the success during a Q2 earnings call this week, while also boasting about what’s in the works for Universal Destinations & Experiences.

Disney dropped its exclusive menu for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, and it’s cranking up the pumpkin.

There are seven new pumpkin-flavored treats you can find around Magic Kingdom on nights of the event, from pumpkin-spiced coffee barbecue pork sandwiches to pumpkin margaritas.

It’s backyard games on another level, and that’s not counting the slippery stairs.

ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex is playing host to ESPN8: The Ocho.

Even though this is a one-day-only sporting event, it’s worth checking out all the games that are all included.
