LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Though glass is among the items that are recyclable, much of the glass we throw into our recyclables ends up in a landfill. Each year, 20,000 visitors from around the world ride horse trails at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. A glass pulverizer is used to build up worn-down horse trails instead of using traditional sand that must be bought in and shipped. The machine files down the edges of the glass fragments, meaning no sharp edges to damage feet or hooves. Annual passholders will soon be able to visit theme parks after 2 p.m. without having to make a park reservation first, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom, Disney said. Passholders will also soon gain access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses and a complimentary Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories experience. A new offering that will allow guests to create and share short Disney-themed video slideshows with favorite photos from theme park visits will also be available soon, Disney said. Hotel guests will continue to receive complimentary standard parking at Disney parks, daily early theme park entry and complimentary on-site transportation.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Some changes are coming for anyone looking to buy tickets to Walt Disney World’s parks. “We continue to focus on providing guests with the best, most memorable Disney experience, and we’re doing that by growing our theme parks with incredible new attractions and offerings,” a Disney spokesperson said.
