đžIt feels like summer, but fall festivities are in full swingđť
Hi there, Meteorologist Michelle Morgan hereâwaiting patiently for a cold front to move through Central Florida, but it looks like itâs going to be a while.
As Candace mentioned, itâll be toasty with a few showers around, but donât let that stop you from kicking off the fall season.
Several fall festivals are happening across Central Florida, along with Oktoberfest celebrations.
One standout fall fest even features a haunted monster truck ride through a farm, where youâll run into spooky charactersâjust the right kind of scare to kick off the spooky season.

Itâs a question we have been asked a lot this week, with two tropical waves in close proximity to one another. Whatâs going on, guys? Meteorologist Jonathan Kegges back with you.
While two storms can merge, they wonât form some super mega storm like in the movies. The close proximity of the storms can actually be detrimental to one or both of them. Hereâs the most likely outcome when storms are close to one another.

Welcome back to your newsletter, everyone, this is meteorologist David Nazario, and Iâm CLOSELY watching all things tropical for you. Things are getting dicey and fairly interesting out there near the Caribbean islands. A tricky forecast lies ahead for what has now developed into tropical storm Humberto, the eighth named system of our hurricane season. An even thicker layer of mystery resides with another area of disturbed tropical weather, tagged Invest 94L.
Throughout the day yesterday, and especially overnight this morning, this feature has really shown signs of trying to get its act together. Itâs now currently right off the coast of the Dominican Republic. This is one pivotal spot that could dictate a lot of what happens next. From there, computer models are very jumpy in their solutions. They tend to struggle with all the different moving pieces weâve got in the tropical puzzle.
