If you’re headed to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex this fall, bring your astronaut appetite.
Hello space enthusiasts, it’s Haley.

It’s high tide for fall festivals, and KSC has entered the chat. I went to the preview for this year’s Taste of Space and sampled the fall bites.
The bonus course was dining with retired Navy captain and NASA astronaut Winston Scott, who was a flight engineer and spacewalker on two missions aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavor and Columbia.
Stories about space told by an astronaut are always fascinating to hear.
Being at a food event, Scott, naturally, had to talk about his experience with eating in space and the unique challenges it presents.
Space food has evolved over time. He recalled the early days when food came in toothpaste-tube-like packets.
Now, astronauts enjoy real food using forks and knives.
He also mentioned a fun tradition from his flights: stocking a freezer with real Dove ice cream bars. This allowed astronauts to enjoy authentic ice cream even in zero gravity.
Taste of Space has separate ticketed events happening. For a look at the lineup, click here.
Walt Disney World
A true “MILE”stone
Magnets, bumper stickers, license plates — just some of the ways you can Disney-fy your vehicle, and one plate has helped reach a major milestone.
The Florida Walt Disney World specialty plate has surpassed $5 million in donations to Make-A-Wish.
If you’re considering a new license plate, this one helps grant wishes for Florida families.
Now streaming: Unfairly songs🎧
If you find yourself always updating your seasonal music, like me, here are some songs to add to your Disney or Halloween playlists.
Music from “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” is now available on streaming.
Whether you’ve seen the new show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or not, I find the songs to be wickedly catchy. Perhaps listening to the songs before the show will help you choose which Villain is most misunderstood. I’m definitely team world’s most famous crook—yo ho!
