ORLANDO, Fla. â Hi there, Insider! Chief Meteorologist Candace Campos here â and weâre talking about the weather whiplash headed our way.
High pressure over the western Atlantic is keeping things quiet, dry, and unusually warm. Highs will climb into the low to mid 80s, with some spots nearing record highs in the mid to upper 80s by Friday and Saturday. Itâll feel more like late spring than winter.

Welcome back to your favorite newsletter everyone, this is Meteorologist David Nazario, thanks so much for joining us here!
I said about a week ago winter may be over for Florida. Iâm starting to see increasing signs this may be the case. To be completely blunt with you, it has NOTHING to do with if weâll see more cold weather or not.
I know it sounds like a nasty trick, but rock with me. The cold weather snaps wonât be going away JUST yet... but winter is absolutely on its way out the door based on how our pattern is behaving. If youâd like my full explanation, I highly suggest you wander over HERE. Let me know anytime if you have questions or simply want to talk weather!
Dry conditions persist, another round of rain on the way
Whatâs going on? Meteorologist Jonathan Kegges here with you.

And weâre not done yet. Another front is on the way with more rain chances. Will it completely bust the drought? Not quite â but every bit helps.
