News 6 Weather Newsletter 3/5

News6 Weather Team Insider

ORLANDO, Fla. – Hi there Insiders, Chief Meteorologist Candace Campos here. Through the weekend, an east-southeast breeze will continue pushing moisture inland, bringing isolated to scattered afternoon showers. Rain chances stay around 20–40% through Friday, then increase to 40–50% Saturday as moisture builds. While widespread storms aren’t expected, daytime heating could spark a few lightning strikes in the afternoon.

Temperatures will stay warm, with highs today in the low 80s along the coast and mid 80s inland. This weekend gets a little warmer, with low 80s at the coast and mid to upper 80s inland.
