ORLANDO, Fla. – UCF star quarterback McKenzie Milton, who suffered a severe leg injury during the regular-season finale versus rival USF, will attend the Fiesta Bowl to watch the Knights take on LSU.

Milton's mother, Teresa Milton, tweeted that her son will have another surgery Thursday to "get him more comfortable."

"He will be at the Fiesta Bowl to cheer his teammates on to victory!" she tweeted.

Teresa Milton also thanked Knight Nation for all its support.

McKenzie Milton has had at least three surgeries to repair nerve damage in his leg.

Milton won back-to-back American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors and finished sixth in Heisman Trophy voting after leading UCF to the nation’s longest win streak, which stands at 25 games.
