SANFORD, Fla. – Halle Zimlich is a great driver for Seminole High School.
A great driver on the girls’ water polo team, that is.
The sophomore is among the top-scoring leaders in the state with more than 150 points, and she has helped the Seminole Seminoles remain undefeated this season. Zimlich’s extensive swimming background helps her excel in water polo.
Now, Zimlich and the Seminoles are in the early stages of what they hope will be a deep playoff run.
“We have some pretty great teams in our district and in our region that we’ve played and have been really close games and are going to be difficult to play,” Zimlich told News 6. “I think we know that and are just focused on playing those as good as we can. [My teammates and I] are all really close, inside and outside of the pool, so that helps a lot, that we do stuff outside and are friends and just have a really good friendship.”
