Orlando Pride stay unbeaten, top Kansas City 2-1

The Orlando Pride kept their unbeaten streak alive with a 2-1 win over the Kansas City Current on Saturday evening.

In a battle of the unbeatens, Orlando improved to 11-0-5 despite being down a player due to a red card on defender Carrie Lawrence.

Barbra Banda scored first for Orlando before Pride captain Marta scored the game winner on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute.

Orlando doesn’t play again until July 20 when it takes on the North Carolina Courage.
