Orlando City drops season opener 4-2 against Philadelphia Lions next play Toronto FC on March 1

ORLANDO, Fla. – After getting on the score sheet first, Orlando City fell to the Philadelphia Union 4-2 during their season opener on Saturday evening at Inter & Co Stadium.
The loss is the Lions’ first home opener since they joined Major League Soccer in 2015.
Orlando’s newest Designated Player Marco Pašalić scored first in the 8th minute, the fastest goal in an MLS debut in Orlando City’s history.

After falling behind a goal, the Union scored four in a row to open a a big lead before Orlando added a second score in the 79th minute.
The Lions next play Toronto FC at home on March 1.
