The Orlando Pride escaped with a 1-1- draw against the North Carolina Courage after scoring a second-half stoppage time goal on Saturday evening.
Pride forward Prisca Chilufya tied the game three minutes into stoppage time in the second half to keep Orlando from losing two games in a row. It was her first NWSL career goal.
“I thought we actually deserved more, considering the dominance in the game, the passes, the chances created,” Pride coach Seb Hines said. “Obviously, they scored in the first half, but we had really good momentum. I thought we played extremely well today both in possession and out of possession.
The Pride return to action in Orlando on May 16 against the Kansas City Current.
