Pride open up fall series action with 0-0 tie at North Carolina
The Orlando Pride opened up their fall series of play with a scoreless draw at the North Carolina Courage on Saturday. The Pride withstood a barrage of shots from the Courage, who outshot the Pride, 18-6, and had eight corner kicks to four for Orlando. Orlando will next be in action next Saturday at the Houston Dash in what will be the second of four games played during their fall series.

It was yet another blowout loss for the Orlando Pride against the league-leading North Carolina Courage on Saturday. The Courage scored early and often and routed the Pride for a third time this year, this time 6-1 in North Carolina in a matchup of first versus last in the National Women's Soccer League standings. The Courage finished 3-0 against the Pride this season, outscoring Orlando in those games, 14-1. But the Courage added two more goals to complete their onslaught. The Pride (4-15-2) will next play at New Jersey against Sky Blue on Sept. 29.

Before the game Wednesday night, Orlando announced the team raised $15,000 to make a Pride-themed mini-pitch in the Orlando area. Pride can't win 2nd straight, lose 2-1 to Spirit
WASHINGTON - A winning streak continues to elude the Orlando Pride this season. The Pride's quest to win consecutive games for the first time this year was thwarted Saturday in Washington as the Washington Spirit earned a 2-1 win over the Pride. Ashley Hatch of the Spirit scored the game-winner in the 59th minute for Washington, which opened the scoring in the ninth minute on a goal by Crystal Thomas. Marta tied the game for the Pride on a goal in the 31st minute, but that was all the scoring the Pride (4-12-2) could generate. Next up for the Pride is a game in Tacoma on Sept. 7 against the Reign.

ORLANDO - The season-long problem of scoring goals is rearing its head again for the Orlando Pride. For the second straight game and eighth time this season, the Pride were shut out, this time by the Utah Royals, who earned a 2-0 win at Exploria Stadium on Saturday. World Cup standout Christen Press scored in the 60th minute ,and then Amy Rodriguez added an insurance goal in the 77th minute for the Royals, who improved to 3-0 against the Pride this season. ORLANDO - After a three-week layoff, the Orlando Pride couldnt do what it hasnt done all season, which is win consecutive games. In their first game since July 20, the Pride lost a game devoid of many offensive chances, falling 1-0 to the Houston Dash on Saturday at Exploria Stadium. A goal on a penalty kick by Houston's Rachel Daly in the 87th minute turned out to be the only scoring of the game. Offensive chances were few in the game, with the Pride only have three shots on goal to two for the Dash. The Pride (3-10-2) will next host the Utah Royals at 7:30 p.m. next Saturday.

His tweets were met with some support, including fellow rapper JackBoy who said he "respects" Lil Nas X for coming out. "Kudos to Lil Nas X for sharing his truth," Murray tweeted. CNN has reached out to Lil Nas X for comment.
Marchers and crowds flood NYC streets to celebrate WorldPride
WorldPride took place during the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, considered the catalyst for the modern gay rights movement. Sunday's march caps off a month of events that included a rally commemorating Stonewall 50, Youth Pride and Pride Island, a three-day outdoor music festival. Solidarity 'in this climate of hate'Frances Goldin, 95, brought the same sign she says she has taken to New York Pride for 35 years. Marchers from Copenhagen were already gearing up for the next WorldPride in 2021, which will be hosted in the Danish capital. Pride fall to Utah, remain winless on season
ORLANDO – A poor start to the season didn’t get much better for the Orlando Pride on Saturday. The Pride are now winless in four games to start the year following a 1-0 loss to the Utah Royals at Orlando City Stadium. Christen Press scored the game’s only goal in the 19th minute for the Royals, who ended up outshooting the Pride, 17-15. The Pride did have 10 corner kicks to Utah’s five, but they couldn’t cash in on those chances and fell to 0-3-1 on the season. Next up for the Pride is a game at the Houston Dash on May 5.
Orlando Pride debuts new uniforms
ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando's new women's soccer team is beaming with pride after the team finally unveiled its new official uniforms. Alex Morgan and company will be sporting purple jerseys with the Orlando Health logo, similar to Orlando City's jerseys. The club recently launched the campaign #FilledWithPride to rally supporters to break the National Women's Soccer League's single-match attendance record of 21,144 fans. The Pride will take the field for its first home game next Sunday against Houston.
