With a modernized touch, the logo incorporates the Magic star and pinstripes made famous by the teams of the Shaq and Penny days.

The Magic said they engaged fans when deciding which direction to take with the logo, a rebranding process that took four years.

The fans’ nostalgia for the 90s was evident and now it’s part of the Magic’s present and future. Modeled by Orlando Magic players Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Tristan da Silva, the franchise also unveiled new home and away white and blue uniforms featuring the classic pinstripes.

The Magic said they’ll hold a special sale of gear with the old logo, with proceeds going to the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation.

The Magic will tip off their 37th season in October in their new threads with the same goal of competing for an NBA Championship.

Perhaps this new era of the Orlando Magic will see that feat accomplished.
