After Atlas forward Matias Coccaro equalized in the 50th minute, Ojeda responded quickly. The Argentine midfielder found the net in the 57th minute off Alex Freeman’s cross, marking his 28th goal contribution this season across all competitions. The tally surpassed Facundo Torres’ previous club record.

Marco Pasalic secured the win with a stoppage-time goal, his 12th of the year. Ojeda provided the assist, extending his season assist total to 15 and his all-time club total to 38 across all competitions.

“We’re very happy to get this result at home, especially winning at home after a few games where we couldn’t achieve the results, despite playing well,” Orlando City coach Oscar Pareja said. “As we’ve spoken about here, we’ve been winning games at the 80-minute mark, and finally today, I thought we had a different outcome. We ended with a lot of energy, and the second half was much better than what we’ve done before. The intensity of the players tonight was a different class.”

Orlando City will conclude Phase One at home against Club Necaxa on Wednesday at Inter&Co Stadium.
