GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Lake Mary Softball All-Stars lost 2-1 to Tulsa on Monday in the Little League World Series, but the team is still alive in the elimination bracket.
The tournament is double-elimination except for the U.S. Championship on Saturday and the World Series Championship on Sunday, meaning Lake Mary has to lose twice to be eliminated.

Lake Mary, the Southeast representative, got on the board first in the first inning, thanks to a sac-fly from catcher Addison Bono, bringing in third baseman Alana Luu.
Tulsa, the Southwest representative, answered back in the third inning with a RBI double from Rylee Whited. With bases loaded in the fourth inning, Tulsa took the 2-1 lead after a hit-by-pitch brought in Palmer Miner.
Lake Mary will play Guilford ,the New England representative from Connecticut, Tuesday, Aug.5, at 7 p.m.
