Lake Mary loses heartbreaker in regional, fails to qualify for Little League World Series

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – The Lake Mary All-Stars will not have the opportunity to defend their Little League World Series championship.

South Carolina defeated Lake Mary 5-4 on Wednesday in the Southeast Region in Warner Robins, Georgia.

With the win, South Carolina advances to the Little League World Series.

Lake Mary led 4-0 in the sixth inning but surrendered all five runs in the bottom half of the inning as South Carolina walked off with the win.
