ORLANDO, Fla. – The United Football League is coming to Orlando.
Three new teams, including the Orlando Storm, will debut in the spring during the league’s third season.
Orlando Storm, Columbus Aviators and Louisville Kings are the three new franchises that will join the lineup of current UFL teams:
- Birmingham Stallions
- Dallas Renegades (formerly Arlington Renegades)
- DC Defenders
- Houston Gamblers (formerly Houston Roughnecks)
- St. Louis Battlehawks
“Today marks an important step forward for the United Football League,” Mike Repole, co-owner of the United Football League, said in a statement. “Columbus, Louisville, and Orlando are true football cities with deep sports roots. We’re proud to bring professional football to these communities – in energetic, fan-driven stadiums built to create an authentic gameday experience and strengthen the foundation of this league for years to come.”
Officials with the UFL will make the formal announcement during a news conference on Tuesday at 12 p.m. at Inter&Co Stadium, where the Orlando Storm will play at. Repole, UFL CEO and President Russ Brandon and officials from the city of Orlando will be attending.

The Orlando Guardians competed during the 2023 XFL season but were dissolved following the league’s merger with the USFL in 2024, which led to the creation of the present-day UFL.
