Jamie Seh wins National Sports Media Association Florida Sportscaster award

NSMA annually recognizes excellence in sports journalism

ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 Sport Director Jamie Seh has been named Florida’s Sportscaster of the Year as the National Sports Media Association rolls out its 2025 award winners.

The NSMA, an organization of nearly 1,000 members, annually recognizes excellence in sports journalism while preserving the industry’s history and mentoring future professionals. Members in 49 states and the District of Columbia vote each year for a State Sportscaster of the Year and State Sportswriter of the Year, along with national honorees and Hall of Fame inductees.

Other awards for the Sunshine State include Rick Stroud of the “Tampa Bay Times” and Dave Hyde from the “South Florida Sun Sentinel” for Florida Sportswriter of the Year.

The NSMA will honor its award winners and Hall of Fame inductees during the organization’s 66th awards weekend and national convention, to be held June 28–29, 2026, at Grandover Resort & Spa in Greensboro, N.
