ORLANDO, Fla. – Fans of the new United Football League team in Orlando will have a chance to decide what the mascot will be.
The league on Thursday said it would seek fan input for the Orlando Storm’s new mascot design and name.
The UFL announced earlier this month that three new teams, including the Orlando Storm, would debut in the spring during the league’s third season.
Here’s how you can participate in the mascot creation:
- November: Voting for mascot concepts opens and a link will be shared when it does
- December: The team’s winning design will be announced on social media
- January: Fans can vote for the name of the new mascot

The Orlando Storm, Columbus Aviators and Louisville Kings are the three new franchises that will join the lineup of current UFL teams:
- Birmingham Stallions
- Dallas Renegades (formerly Arlington Renegades)
- DC Defenders
- Houston Gamblers (formerly Houston Roughnecks)
- St. Louis Battlehawks
The 2026 season will kick off on March 27. Season ticket deposits in the new markets are currently on sale. For more information or to secure season tickets, click here.
The Orlando Guardians competed during the 2023 XFL season but were dissolved following the league’s merger with the USFL in 2024, which led to the creation of the present-day UFL.
