ORLANDO, Fla. – The “World’s Premier Halloween Event” is back at Universal Orlando Resort.
Running 48 select nights from Aug. 28 through Nov. 2, Halloween Horror Nights features 10 terrifying haunted houses, scare zones, live shows and more.
“Now it is going to be an incredible year. Ten haunted houses. We have such a great lineup. Five Nights at Freddy’s is coming to Halloween Horror Nights. And I cannot wait for the fans, for our guests to experience it,” said Matt Flood, senior show director.
Flood added that Terrifier will be one of the most graphic houses yet, calling it “the bloodiest house we’ve ever made.”
“Well, Halloween Horror Nights is so immersive this year,” said Lora Sauls, assistant director of entertainment. “There’s amazing food, merchandise, our tribute store. There’s so much for everyone. It’s an incredible event. Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights is where it’s at.”

In a remote northern village, a wicked being rises from the dead with a horde of monsters. Try to escape the belly of the beast.
Grave of Flesh
Welcome to your funeral, where it’s about to go from bad to worse. You’ll enter the underworld and be hunted by flesh-eaters for eternity.
Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters
In this Old West town, all hell is breaking loose. Red-hot lava demons are trying to possess everyone, melting everything in their path.
This silent killer is coming for you.
Halloween Horror Nights resurrects the infamous Jason Voorhees in an all-new haunted house, “Jason Universe,” celebrating the legacy of one of the most notorious killers in cinematic history.

The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane
Travel down a spooky winding path to a mysterious home, where trick-or-treaters are transformed into feral felines. Be careful or you’ll be next.
Masquerade: Dance with Death
You’re invited to a masquerade ball where bloodthirsty vampires lurk behind ornate disguises. When their masks fall, you’ll become their prey.
The Origins of Horror

Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey
A ghost story is rising from its watery grave to haunt the Universal Studios lagoon, featuring towering water screens and eerie music.
Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay
A once-vibrant circus has festered into an unending nightmare. It’s a sinister spectacle of pyro, aerialists and illusions.
Universal also announced two new street experiences this year: “Mel’s Die-In Zombies,” with zombie carhops and “Club Horror,” with undead DJs.
