WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida Resort is preparing for liftoff with its newest attraction.
Set to open in early 2026, Galacticoaster is an all-new indoor family coaster.
The space-themed coaster is the first indoor ride inside the main park since Legoland Florida opened in 2011. It offers guests an interstellar LEGO adventure that combines high-speed thrills with imaginative storytelling.

Spanning more than 30,000 square feet and towering over 50 feet high, Galacticoaster is the most ambitious and technically advanced ride ever built at any Legoland Resort.
“From the very beginning, we aimed to create an immersive experience for our guests from the moment they step inside,” Blake Boyter, senior project manager at Merlin Magic Making, said in a statement. “Guests will experience more LEGO storytelling, more excitement, and more out-of-this-world fun than ever before.”
The coaster’s construction has been a massive undertaking. Over the course of 12 months, more than 500 crew members from around the world collaborated to build the ride. The foundation required a single concrete pour, utilizing over 400 trucks, in just 13 hours.
Galacticoaster features nearly 1,500 feet of track supported by 120 columns, with 48 track sections. The station conveyor belt alone weighs 18,000 pounds.
Bringing this cosmic adventure to life took more than 110,000 hours of work from engineers, designers, and builders — a task that would take one person 53 years working full-time.
When it opens, families will board their own LEGO spacecraft and journey through a thrilling interstellar adventure filled with cosmic-scale fun.
