ORLANDO, Fla. – Muppet mayhem is coming back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next summer, according to Disney Parks Blog.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets has officially been given a summer 2026 opening window, Disney Parks Blog announced Wednesday.
It’s replacing 1999’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the fast and exciting music-themed ride that Disney announced last November would become a construction zone in 2025, one of several projects underway at that park alone.
The revamped ride will closely (if not identically) follow the plot of the original Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Guests at G-Force Records will find the Electric Mayhem in the middle of a recording session when their band manager, Scooter, tries his best to get them to a concert on time.
According to the latest announcement, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will not only depict Scooter as an audio-animatronics figure, he’s also not the only one.
A closure date has not yet been shared for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
