ORLANDO, Fla. – A new International Drive attraction is inviting guests to slow down and enjoy the cute things in life.
Opening in February 2026, Sloth World, the world’s first and only “Slotharium” offers guests a guided, small-group experience inside a rainforest-style habitat where sloths live freely among lush trees, vines, and natural climbing structures.
According to a news release, the 7,500-square-foot space will be home to more than 40 sloths across multiple species, including babies born on site.
All interactions are intentionally hands-off and education-based, giving guests a rare opportunity to observe natural sloth behaviors up close.
“We want guests to feel like they’ve stepped into the sloths’ world—not the other way around,” said Pete Bandre, vice president of Sloth World. “There are no cages or barriers—you step right into their environment. It’s peaceful, natural and unlike anything else. We want every visitor to walk out with a deeper understanding of how extraordinary these animals are, why their protection matters, and how simple actions can help support sloth populations around the world.”
The entire experience is designed around conservation and education, helping guests understand how sloths live, why their natural behaviors matter, and how habitat protection efforts support the species worldwide.
Every visit is a ticketed, small-group guided tour led by Sloth World Ambassadors—animal science professionals who specialize in sloth behavior.
Sloth World will operate 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, including holidays. Tickets are $49, with presales already underway.
Sloth World is located at 6582 International Drive, just north of Carrier Drive.
