ORLANDO, Fla. – Comcast’s fourth-quarter earnings call Thursday highlighted the strong impact of Universal Epic Universe on Universal Orlando’s theme parks.

Jason S. Armstrong, Comcast’s chief financial officer, said revenue at the theme parks rose 22% ($2.89 billion) in the October-December 2025 quarter, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) growing 24%, surpassing $1 billion for the first time.

“We’re really pleased with what we’re seeing from Epic, which continues to drive higher per cap spending and attendance across the entirety of the resort,” Armstrong said.

Universal Orlando isn’t operating at full capacity yet, but Armstrong said the company has made significant strides in expanding ride throughput.

Comcast plans to continue scaling operations over the coming quarters, targeting higher attendance, increased per capita spending and greater operating leverage. It’s worth noting that Universal Orlando does not currently offer annual passes.

Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park, represents the largest single development project ever undertaken by Orange County, Florida. The $7 billion project spans 750 acres and is expected to bring $2 billion into Florida’s economy and create 17,500 new jobs nationwide in its first year.
