ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Volcano Bay Nights is back this summer, giving guests an after-dark spin on the resort’s award-winning water park.
The limited-capacity event runs on select nights from May 3 through Aug. 21 and promises lower wait times, themed entertainment, and exclusive food and drink options.
Guests can enter Volcano Bay as early as 4 p.m. on event days, with official festivities beginning at 7 p.m. Attendees will have shorter lines for headline attractions such as Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge and TeAwa the Fearless River, the announcement says.
A Beach Bash at Waturi Beach will feature a live DJ and meet-and-greets with DreamWorks Animation characters from Shrek and Madagascar. The park will hand out complimentary treats including Blue Raspberry Churro Bites and garlic parmesan-flavored popcorn, and guests can purchase specialty food and beverages at select locations.
Volcano Bay Nights dates are May 3, 10, 17, 22, and 31; June 5, 12, 18, and 25; July 10 and 17; and Aug. 7, 14, and 21.

Event access includes a complimentary Volcano Bay Freestyle souvenir cup with over 100 drink choices and Coca-Cola refills during the event.
Tickets are on sale for $99 plus tax per person, and parking for the event is included. Universal Orlando Passholders may receive a 10% discount with a valid annual or seasonal pass and photo ID.
Private cabanas will be available on event nights starting at $199.99 plus tax and must be booked in person at concierge huts on the day of the event. Cabanas are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, the statement adds.
