Texas A&M WR Ainias Smith out for season with leg injury
Texas A&M wide receiver Ainias Smith will miss the rest of the 2022 season due to an injury he suffered in the team’s win over Arkansas on Saturday night. Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher confirmed the news Monday and said Smith has a "lower body injury." Maurice Smith, Ainias' father, told The Bryan-College Station Eagle that his son has a fracture in his lower right leg. To me it makes college football special, the rivalries of college football, trying to keep as many traditions as you can with the expanding world."

Smith, a senior, was one of three Texas A&M players selected to represent the program at SEC Media Days in Atlanta on Thursday. Smith has also rushed for 373 yards and four touchdowns in his college career.

Spiller helped get the Aggies get into position for Small’s decisive kick, sending A&M to its first win over a top-five team since a 41-38 victory over No. Florida led 28-24 early in the fourth when Spiller struck again, running 19 yards for a touchdown on a fourth-and-2 play. Spiller bounced off several defenders before waltzing into the end zone and then hitting the Florida fan section with a Gator chomp.
