"I have to say seething because I think it's just necessary at this point," Grant said, via the Dayton Daily News. OMB Peezy was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, news outlets reported. The shooting happened on Feb. 21 at a scrap yard where rappers Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were filming a music video. Peezy, 24, has over 550,000 subscribers on YouTube, where he's posted music, cooking and advice videos.
Police charge suspect in slaying of 8-year-old Atlanta girl
Police issued warrants a day earlier for 19-year-old Julian Conley in the slaying of Secoriea Turner, police spokesman Anthony Grant said. Patterson said Conley was peacefully protesting and witnessed the shooting but did not open fire himself, though he was armed. Why would you want to charge a man who saw a crime but did not participate in a criminal act? The man got up and opened fire at the vehicle, Patterson said his client told him. Conley said everyone thought somebody in the SUV was shooting and other armed people opened fire at the vehicle, Patterson said.

Former NBA player Andre Emmett has been laid to rest in Dallas on Monday, CBS Dallas/Fort Worth reports. The 37-year-old Carter High standout and Texas Tech record-breaker was shot and killed near his home in Old East Dallas last week. It seemed so unreal," shared Alex Williams, after leaving the funeral service this afternoon at St. Luke Community United Methodist Church.
