Edgewater man killed in single-vehicle crash
An Edgewater man was killed late Monday after he ran a stop sign on a rural road and then struck two palm trees and a fence, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. Brandon Graham, 26, was traveling in his 1997 Ford F-150 at a high rate of speed west on Volco Road approaching the intersection at Beacon Light Road around 11:40 p.m., the report stated. He was pronounced dead on the scene, said FHP spokeswoman Lt. Kim Montes. He was not wearing a seat belt, the report said. The crash remains under investigation.
