FRISCO, Texas — (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys acquired receiver Brandin Cooks in a trade with the Houston Texans on Sunday, adding a speedy veteran to play alongside CeeDee Lamb. The difference in the trades is the Texans will pay $6 million of Cooks' $18 million salary. Cooks later went to New England, the Los Angeles Rams and the Texans in trades. The Cowboys waited until late in the 2022 season to put a speedy veteran alongside Lamb when they signed free agent T.Y. Besides Lamb and Cooks, the Cowboys are hoping for a bounce-back season from Michael Gallup now that he's more than a year removed from an ACL injury.

Elliott had a season-high 92 yards rushing, and the Cowboys overcame two interceptions from Prescott, who threw for 261 yards.

The Dallas quarterback has 10 consecutive victories over the Giants since losing to them twice when the Cowboys went 13-3 his rookie year in 2016. Disappointment for CeeDee Lamb turned to joy for Cowboys tight ends during Thursday's Thanksgiving win against the New York Giants. Peyton Hendershot made up for it on the next play while adding a new twist to a Cowboys Thanksgiving tradition. On second-and-goal at the 2-yard line, Dallas sent out four tight ends for the goal-line play. He was joined by fellow Cowboys tight ends Dalton Schultz, Sean McKeon and Jake Ferguson, who all hopped in the kettle. His statement certainly translates in fantasy football terms since Lamb's 11 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns against the Packers generated 32.5 half-PPR points — the biggest fantasy performance of his young career, and one that made him one of our top performers of Week 10. In his first game back in Green Bay as Dallas’ coach, Mike McCarthy didn’t exactly leave Packers fans pining for the good ol’ days.

The Green Bay Packers stopped a five-game skid with a 31-28 win over former coach Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Before kickoff, Mike McCarthy celebrated his return to Lambeau Field with hugs, laughter and back-claps. But at night’s end, Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers had the last laugh. Instead, Prescott missed Lamb in the middle of the end zone and Packers safety Rudy Ford intercepted the pass and returned it 34 yards. The Cowboys failed to score in the fourth quarter or overtime as the Packers ripped off 17 unanswered points. Dallas went for it on fourth-and-3 from the Green Bay 35 but the Packers' pass rush forced an incompletion.

The Dallas Cowboys got tremendous help from both sides of the football on Sunday to get the win against the Chicago Bears. Dallas is now 6-2 on the season.

PHILADELPHIA — Initially CeeDee Lamb said he was "not telling nobody nothing," but in a quieter moment of the Dallas Cowboys' postgame locker room, the receiver's phrasing was telling. Prescott began clutching a football during rehabilitation work at Cowboys practice, his grip strength returning from its post-fracture absence. Last week, Prescott worked into some individual throws at practice. At halftime, Rush's 1 passer rating looked like a typographical error beside Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts' 102.8 performance. On his 122nd pass attempt this season, Cowboys QB Cooper Rush throws an interception.

At least it looked that way to everyone but the officials and, apparently, Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys rushed to the line to go for it on fourth down. Instead of taking the time to decide on a challenge or choosing the right play, Dallas rushed a snap and passed instead of sneaking it ahead for the first down. Lamb clearly had the first down before he landed. The officials screwed up to begin with, and then McCarthy added a couple of mistakes of his own.

This version of the Chiefs offense might not be the clean-cut fantasy football unit some want. After a nightmare Week 1 for everyone in Dallas, he’s totaled 259 yards on 21 catches with two scores. Jefferson ran into a tough cover corner in Darius Slay and didn't play his best game in Week 2. Romeo Doubs’ big dropThere were so many positives out of Romeo Doubs' Week 4 outing that we should choose to look past the one big negative. The deep catch would have won the Packers the game and put a massive exclamation point on Doubs’ fantasy day.

ARLINGTON, Texas — (AP) — Cooper Rush won again filling in for Dak Prescott, throwing a touchdown pass to Michael Gallup in the receiver's 2022 debut as the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Commanders 25-10 on Sunday. The Commanders (1-3) lost a third consecutive game in Carson Wentz's reunion with an old division rival from his days as the No. Washington had several promising drives stalled by penalties, and flags also wiped out interceptions by Benjamin St.-Juste and Kamren Curl. The Commanders finished with 11 penalties for 136 yards after totaling 128 penalty yards the first three weeks. The 9-yard catch from a scrambling Rush for a 12-7 second-quarter lead came in the same end zone as the injury.

Cooper Rush won again filling in for Dak Prescott, throwing a touchdown pass to Michael Gallup in the receiver’s 2022 debut as the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Commanders 25-10.

The Dallas Cowboys turned it on in the second half on both sides of the ball to defeat their NFC East rival, the New York Giants, on the road Monday night.

Saquon Barkley scored on a weaving 36-yard touchdown run that gave the Giants a brief 13-6 lead. Graham Gano added three field goal, including a 51-yarder with 3:37 to play to make it a one-score game. If there was a big play in the game, it came from McCarthy. Faced with a fourth-and-4 at the Giants 41 with the score tied at 13 and 10:27 to play, the Dallas coach went for the first down. Maher sandwiched field goals of 26 and 28 yards around a 42-yarder by Gano to give Dallas a 6-3 halftime lead.

CeeDee Lamb made a one-handed touchdown catch with 8:30 to play to cap a go-ahead drive, and the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants 23-16.

Brett Maher kicked a 50-yard field goal as time expired, and the Dallas Cowboys held on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 20-17 after losing a two-touchdown halftime lead.

I have him at a 26% target share, which gets him to 170 targets … good for the second-highest in my 2022 projections. It's still tough to get Brown comfortably inside the top-12 receivers with that type of target share despite being an efficiency maven. Even at an aggressive 20% target share, it's difficult to see him pushing north of 120 looks. These two guys have dominated almost half of the target share themselves in each of the last two seasons.

The Falcons pushed the lead to 39-24 on Younghoe Koo's fourth field goal with just under eight minutes left. Calvin Ridley was the leader for the Falcons this week with 109 yards and two touchdowns.

Im not a guy that looks at my future to be honest, Prescott said Wednesday, two days before the first practice of training camp for the Cowboys. He was an almost instant star with the Cowboys, winning 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year as a fourth-round pick who replaced injured 10-year starter Tony Romo during his first preseason. The Cowboys made the hotel available to their players, and Prescott estimated 90% of them had essentially agreed to create their own bubble. The Cowboys cleared their COVID-19 reserve list early this week by activating WR Jon'Vea Johnson and CB Saivion Smith.
