Our analysts reveal their boldest fantasy predictions for Week 14. This week, Huntley gets a matchup with a Steelers defense that ranks No. Goff finishes as a top-five fantasy QB for the second straight week while facing a Vikings defense allowing the most YPA and passing yards this season. Market sleeping on Zay JonesScott Pianowski: I'm going back to Zay Jones in Week 14, especially with six teams out of play. The market says he's merely a WR3 this week, I think the market is about 10 slots too low.

Fantasy Football: Early waiver wire pickups for Week 8

It's never too early to look toward your next matchup and a chance to bolster your fantasy football lineups. Here are three options to consider on the waiver wire ahead of Week 8. Jones scored an excellent 28.78 fantasy points in the Giants' 23-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. It's probably too early to say that Brian Daboll is turning Jones into a poor man's Josh Allen. And next up for Jones, a matchup that has been a quarterback's dream this season: the Seattle Seahawks.

Christian McCaffrey traded to 49ers: Fantasy football ramifications of blockbuster deal

And just like that, there are no remaining Panthers who deserve starting consideration in fantasy football. It's impossible to not view this deal as a huge win for McCaffrey, both in fantasy and reality. Both are on the radar as speculative pickups, but neither is likely to emerge as a must-start fantasy option. [Week 7 Fantasy Rankings: QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | FLEX | DST | Kickers]* We can still hope for D.J. If he's not moved by the November 1 trade deadline, he too will be a drop candidate in fantasy.

Mayfield's transition to Carolina anything but smooth so far

Baker Mayfield’s transition to the Carolina Panthers hasn't been a smooth one. “Not good enough yet,” Mayfield said when asked to assess his play through three games. Perhaps it’s that Mayfield missed all of OTAs and minicamp with his new team, but the quarterback hasn’t been on the same page with his receivers and too often hasn't trusted his offensive line to provide protection when it has been there, too often needlessly shifting in a clean pocket.

No. 18 Miami motivated to finish strong in Cheez-It Bowl in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 18th-ranked Miami Hurricanes hope to redeem themselves when they face Oklahoma State in the Cheez-It Bowl. A lopsided loss to end the regular season cost coach Manny Diaz's team a spot in a major bowl. Instead, the Hurricanes (8-2) will finish their best season in years on a smaller stage on Tuesday night. That loss likely kept the Hurricanes out of a New Year’s Six bowl game. A victory would likely lift Oklahoma State back into the AP rankings.

No. 14 Oklahoma State holds off Kansas State, 20-18

Kansas State quarterback Will Howard (15) passes to a teammate during the first half of an NCAA college football game against Oklahoma State in Manhattan, Kan., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020. After six first-half punts, Oklahoma State finally got on the board with a field goal early in the second half. The safety took off up the Kansas State sideline and was never touched on his TD return, which wound up being the decisive score in the game. Kansas State could have used the steady hand of senior quarterback Skylar Thompson, who is out for the season with a shoulder injury. Kansas State gets the week off before trying to snap its two-game skid at No.

Ehlinger's TD pass helps Texas beat No. 6 Oklahoma St. in OT

His 15-yard touchdown pass to Moore in overtime helped Texas knock off previously unbeaten and sixth-ranked Oklahoma State 41-34 on Saturday. “Big-time players make big-time plays in big-time games, regardless of when that is and regardless of what’s happened earlier in the game," Ehlinger said. Sanders threw his fourth touchdown pass -- a 9-yard toss to a well-covered Wallace -- to give Oklahoma State a 31-20 lead. Oklahoma State got a final shot in regulation, getting the ball back with 1:13 remaining and no timeouts. Oklahoma State visits Kansas State on Saturday.

No. 5 Oklahoma still Big 12 favorite with inexperienced QB

No. 5 Oklahoma still Big 12 favorite with inexperienced QB

The Sooners are still considered the overwhelming favorite to win their sixth consecutive Big 12 crown overall because nobody has dethroned them with Riley there. Purdy last year set school records with 3,982 yards and 27 TDs passing, leading the Big 12 with 306.3 yards per game. Conference play begins Sept. 26, the start of an 11-week stretch for nine league games before the Big 12 title game Dec. 12 or Dec. 19, if an extra week is needed. Since this is only TCU's ninth season in the league, Patterson technically isn't the longest-tenured Big 12 coach. Former Oklahoma State quarterback Mike Gundy is in his 16th season as head coach for his alma mater.

Oklahoma State's Gundy takes pay cut in wake of T-shirt flap

Athletic director Mike Holder said Friday the adjustments to Gundy's contract were the coach's idea. Two weeks ago, running back Chuba Hubbard lashed out at Gundy on social media for wearing a T-shirt promoting One America News Network. Holder didn't say whether the $1 million pay cut was a one-time arrangement or something that would happen annually. The changes were offered up by Mike Gundy, and I commend him for that, Holder said. The missing link has been a more personal relationship with their head coach, Holder said.
