A driver died in a crash Tuesday morning after their vehicle struck a pole in Seminole County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Neighbors in east Orange County are once again fighting to block a proposed development that would bring nearly 1,800 homes to their rural community.

A 73-year-old Orlando man died after a crash Friday night with a tree near Bithlo, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. A man and woman were found dead inside a vehicle Thursday morning in east Orange County, deputies said. The Orange County Sheriffs Office said deputies responded to East Colonial Drive near Shepard Road for a vehicle that struck a guardrail. East Colonial Drive is closed in both directions from Chuluota Road to North County Road 13.
