Guardians-Yankees rained out, to play ALDS Game 5 on Tuesday
The decisive Game 5 of the AL Division Series between the Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees has been postponed by rain after a 2 1/2-hour delay and rescheduled for Tuesday at 4:07 p.m. Both teams took batting practice ahead of the scheduled 7:07 p.m. start.

Oscar Gonzalez’s two-run homer in the sixth broke a 1-all tie and gave Cleveland its fifth straight win. Cincinnati’s Joey Votto homered in seven straight last season from July 24-30. Morris, making his third major league start, allowed one run, walked five and struck out four in 2 2/3 innings. Angels infielder David Fletcher didn’t start for the third day in a row because of a bruised right hand. Quantrill is 12-0 in 40 career games at Progressive Field and has gone 32 straight home starts without a loss.
