Gould's FG on final play gives 49ers 13-10 upset of Packers
On a field littered with snow flurries, Gould's kick knocked off the top-seeded Packers and possibly ended Aaron Rodgers' tenure in Green Bay. San Francisco beat the Packers 37-20 in the NFC championship game two seasons ago before losing 31-20 to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. San Francisco tied the game with 4:41 left thanks to a breakdown by Green Bay’s special teams, the Packers’ biggest weakness all season. Deebo Samuel delivered a 9-yard run on third-and-8 from the Green Bay 38, and the 49ers ran down the clock to set up Gould. The temperature at kickoff was 14 degrees with a wind chill of zero, making it the fifth-coldest playoff game in Lambeau Field history.

Heading into the game he was 44 of 46 on field goal attempts since the start of the 2019 season. The Bengals drove to the Packers 47 but McPherson's field-goal attempt bounced off the right upright with 26 seconds left. Crosby's 44-yard field goal and the Rodgers-to-Adams hookup made it look as if the Packers would take a 16-7 lead at the half.
wftv.comBig offenses, overlooked defenses in AFC title game
The Kansas City Chiefs won their first NFL title since 1970 when they beat San Francisco in last year's Super Bowl. What we get Sunday is a matchup of dynamic offenses and overlooked defenses, the top two teams in the conference. Kansas City (15-2) has the confidence of a reigning champion and a charisma few NFL teams can match. That could provide an edge over Bills rookie Tyler Bass — except that Bass has been very reliable all season. Buffalo punter Corey Bojorquez and Kansas City rookie Johnny Townsend were two of the most dependable in the AFC.
