Mariah Carey sought to trademark the branding for products, but her request was rejected after a challenge from full-time Christmas musician Elizabeth Chan. Now anyone can be a Christmas queen.

Mariah Carey, dubbed the Queen of Christmas by her fans, took to her Instagram to post a video in which she proclaimed that Christmastime is officially here.

The 53-year-old superstar's trademark claim "Queen of Christmas" is largely based on her 1994 smash hit and holiday classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You."

Proceeds go to the Flagler Beach Police Department.
