USC settles case with men who say campus doctor abused them
The University of Southern California has settled a lawsuit with 80 former students, mostly gay and bisexual men, who accused a male doctor of sexual misconduct. Although USC received reports of alleged abuse by Kelly dating back at least to 2006, he remained in his job until 2018. In January 2018, a senior USC administration official complained to the chief health officer that he had been abused by Kelly when he was a student, attorney Kelly Van Aken said. The official came forward because of the Nassar case and conversations he had with this own doctor. “This is something that I’ll have to carry with me for the rest of my life.”Copyright 2022 The Associated Press.

(AP Photo/Matt Ludtke) (Matt Ludtke)Randall Cobb can thank MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers for triggering the veteran receiver’s return to the Green Bay Packers. Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst was straightforward Thursday in saying that the team acquired Cobb from the Houston Texans for an undisclosed draft pick because Rodgers wanted him. The Packers have added both Cobb and offensive tackle Dennis Kelly since opening training camp Wednesday. Gutekunst said Rodgers always has been part of those conversations and the difference this year is in how they incorporate his input. Rodgers joined the Packers for training camp this week after skipping the team's organized team activities and mandatory minicamp.
