Before the National Toy Hall of Fame inducts a new class each fall, curators at the upstate New York attraction have to figure out how to showcase the honorees.

Fisher-Price is recalling parts of over 2 million infant swings across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Fans have pushed the Fisher-Price Corn Popper into the National Toy Hall of Fame.

Fisher-Price and U.S. product safety regulators are telling parents not to let their infants fall asleep in the company’s rockers after 13 infants died in the devices between 2009 and 2021.

Consumers are being warned by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Fisher-Price to not use Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rockers and Newborn-to-Toddler Rockers for sleep, according to a news release.

Fisher-Price is recalling about 34,000 cradle swings because the seat could fall if a peg is not fully engaged. The recall includes three models of the Fisher-Price cradle swings: CHM84 Soothing Savanna Cradle 'n Swing, CMR40 Sweet Surroundings Cradle 'n Swing, and CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle 'n Swing. The swings have two different swinging motions - rocking side-to-side, or swinging head-to-toe, and six different swing speeds from low to high. Fisher-Price has received two reports of a seat peg coming out from the seat, causing the seat to fall. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cradle swing and contact Fisher-Price for revised assembly instructions.
