Fantasy Football Booms and Busts: Vikings and Giants party in the dome in Week 16
When you’re handing out fantasy football game balls for Week 16, don’t forget one for U.S. Bank Stadium. Kirk Cousins didn't involve the others much, but he still finished with 299 yards passing and three scores. The Giants also moved the ball on the ground, mainly through Saquon Barkley (133 total yards, touchdown) and the enterprising Jones (34 rushing yards). The air conditioning doesn’t throw off anyone’s passing game. He finished with 355 yards passing and three scores, while the Lions managed just 45 rushing yards.

MINNEAPOLIS — (AP) — Greg Joseph kicked a career-long 61-yard field goal as time expired, giving the Minnesota Vikings a 27-24 victory that prevented the New York Giants from clinching a playoff spot on Saturday. After replay review overturned the turnover call on the field, the Vikings resumed their drive and finished it in the end zone. Rarely have these Vikings played a drama-free fourth quarter, though. Naturally, they wound up with another nail-baiting win, setting the NFL record with their 11th one-score victory of the season. After their NFL-record comeback from a 33-point deficit to beat Indianapolis, the Vikings didn't electrify the stadium like last week.

The Vikings took this rally all the way to their second possession of OT, after punting on their first one. Dallis Flowers returned the opening kickoff 49 yards, and the Colts were in scoring position within seconds. The Saints then had an eight-play drive and Lutz made a 60-yard field goal with 1:51 left to tie the game for the Saints (1-3), who have lost three straight games. Jefferson had 10 receptions for 147 yards and ran for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter for the Vikings (3-1). The Vikings squandered two good opportunities deep in Saints territory late in the second quarter. Tight end Johnny Mundt dropped a short pass on a third-and-1 from the 10 and Minnesota opted for a field goal instead of going for it. Joseph then kicked a 36-yard field goal and the Vikings went into the half with a 13-7 lead.

Vikings outlast Rodgers, Packers 34-31 on game-ending FG
When the Vikings regained the ball, Cousins nearly cost himself the comeback by slightly underthrowing Jefferson, whom Savage darted in front of to intercept the ball. They posted the highest score against the Packers since their 38-3 loss to New Orleans in the season opener. Preston Smith had two sacks, but the Packers didn't have the same pass rush with outside linebacker Rashan Gary (elbow) sidelined. Ham on third-and-1 at their 29 was stopped for no gain late in the second quarter. He missed some time while getting treatment on the sideline late in the second quarter but returned after halftime.

He made the only field goal he tried in the playoffs and made all his extra points. He missed a career-high four extra points last season after not missing more than three in any of his previous 13 NFL seasons.
