Development chances continue to grow for newly designated Invest 98L

The tropical wave highlighted in the Main Development Region for up to a 50 percent chance of formation within the next seven days has received the designation invest 97L. Where's it headed and how strong will it become, coming at you here.

Invest AL93 and Invest AL94, are quickly becoming the main focus as both track closer to the Eastern Seaboard.

We've moved through the peak of the hurricane season, and while September is the traditional busiest month of a tropical season, we've yet to see any named storms since Fernand petered off in the North Atlantic weeks ago.
