ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Seven football players from Michigan State University have been charged for their role in a postgame fight in the tunnel at Michigan Stadium last month, prosecutors said Wednesday. The incident occurred after Michigan’s 29-7 victory in Ann Arbor against their in-state rivals from Michigan State. Video captured on social media by several reporters and published by the Detroit News showed Michigan State players allegedly throwing punches and kicks toward Wolverines defensive back Ja’Den McBurrows in the tunnel at Michigan Stadium. Both Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and Michigan State coach Mel Tucker addressed the media following the incident, WILX-TV reported. Breaking Seven Michigan State football players are being charged, with one facing a felony charge, for the assault on two Michigan players in the tunnel after the two teams played on Oct. 29, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office announced.
