Police say Fernandez-Saldana was arrested Thursday by a law enforcement team made up of ATF, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Central Florida. Fernandez-Saldana’s co-conspirator, Henry Tenon, pled guilty to second-degree murder with a weapon and reportedly agreed to testify against him, according to police.

According to Fernandez Saldana’s arrest warrant, he met Gardner-Fernandez in 2018 at her CrossFit gym, where Fernandez Saldana worked as a maintenance man.
