DELAND A judge denied Volusia County District 4 Councilwoman Heather Posts request to extend an injunction for protection against a Deltona man she accused of stalking her. Under the terms of the injunction, Mortimer could still attend council meetings but could not address or approach Post. Thats when he asked Volusia County Sheriffs Office Deputy Jeff Hoffman, who was providing security, about wearing body armor. In declining to extend the injunction, Foxman said simply asking about body armor was not enough.
