The surging Mariners have won 17 of 20 for the first time since April 2-23, 2002. The Nationals, who have lost five straight and 11 of 12, also saw production from Keibert Ruiz, who had a double and a single. UP NEXTMariners: LHP Tommy Milone (0-1, 3.60 ERA) makes his first start of the season in Game 2 of the twinbill.
