Filmmaker and Orlando restaurateur Kevin Smith to headline Frontyard Festival in May

Mooby's, the fictional fast-food restaurant from the Jay and Silent Bob franchise, is coming to Orlando

Kevin Smith, backward-capper, heart-attack recipient and the man behind the Jay and Silent Bob franchise (as well as the epic True North trilogy), will bring his fictional fast-food joint Mooby's to life when it pops up in the tourist sector next month. (Smith, BTW, adheres to a plant-based diet ever since suffering a heart attack three years ago. )In addition, Mooby's will collaborate with Motorworks Brewing to create a " Fun Time Lager " for the pop-up.Mooby's first appeared in Smith's controversial filmas well as subsequent featuresand, for which it served as the primary setting.Orlando is the eighth stop of the Mooby's pop-up tour, having sprung in L.A. last summer before moving on to Red Bank, NJ; Chicago, Toronto, Minneapolis, Phoenix and Vancouver.We can't give you the specific location or dates of Mooby's Orlando pop-up just yet, but we'll let you know next week when tickets go on sale. 1 dead, 4 injured in shooting at Minnesota health clinic
The attack happened Tuesday morning at an Allina clinic in Buffalo, a community of about 15,000 people roughly 40 miles (64 kilometers) northwest of Minneapolis. Authorities said Gregory Paul Ulrich, of Buffalo, opened fire at the facility and was arrested before noon. AdAs authorities searched the clinic for more victims, they found the suspicious device and evacuated the building, Wright County Sheriff Sean Deringer said. It was not immediately clear whether that device exploded, but TV footage showed several shattered plate-glass windows at the clinic. Hennepin County Medical Center spokeswoman Christine Hill said Tuesday night that a person brought to the hospital after being shot at the Buffalo clinic had died.

Kevin Smith's near-death experience gave new life to his filmmaking
"Which was kind of essential at that point, because I felt old after the heart attack, and I was like, 'Well, this will young me up.'" "We were trying to make it even before the heart attack happened," Smith told CNN. "We were getting close, then the heart attack happened and pushed us back like a year or something. That way, if I'm still alive they're like, 'Oh, he made another f---ing Jay and Silent Bob movie.' But if I die, they'll be like, 'That was the most important Jay and Silent Bob movie ever made!'"

The New 'Jay and Silent Bob' movie will be screened in Orlando
